Some background…

Jack and Bonnie Humphreys founded 640 Legacy Partners with a desire to multiply their heritage of financial stewardship through the coming generations of their family.

Jack and Bonnie each left family farms in eastern and western Oklahoma and met at the University of Oklahoma. They worked together to found “Jack’s Service Company,” a wholesale company providing non-food products and merchandising to drug and grocery chains throughout the US. After selling the business to their sons, Jack and Bonnie focused their business on investing in real estate, energy, and private operating companies.

The Oklahoma City Billy Graham Crusade in 1956 was a significant event in their lives, connecting them to a deep faith and a network of life-long relationships. Subsequently they devoted a significant portion of the rest of their lives traveling the world to train counselors for Billy Graham events.

Ultimately Jack and Bonnie’s legacy was their five children and fourteen grandchildren who, to a person, have committed to continue to live the values they embodied - warm hospitality, uncommon generosity, genuine faith, and an entrepreneurial courage.

Currently in the 5th generation, their family continues to enjoy business together, unified by the values Jack and Bonnie lived by. 640 Legacy Partners exists to multiply their legacy.

Why 640?

Jack was the physical embodiment of the term "eternal optimist." It is not surprising, then, that he claimed that his favorite Bible verse was "Ephesians 6:40." Since there is no Ephesians 6:40, Jack would smile as he explained that he was referring to the doubled impact of Ephesians 3:20 which says, "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us." Jack credited Jesus Christ with every blessing. He lived an enthusiastic and passionate life, and never missed an opportunity to ask, "Have you made the marvelous decision to have a personal relationship with Jesus?”
